King of Stones – Brian Shaw 2011 Winner – Limited Edition t-shirt

Regarded by many as the signature event of the World’s Strongest Man, the Atlas Stones has brought recent WSM finals to a close. In prior years, it was a case of whether anyone would lift all five stones, now it is a question of who will do it in the fastest time. Over the year’s we have seen some great Atlas Stones climaxes including Brian Shaw and Zydrunas Savickas in 2010, Mariusz Pudzianowski and Derek Poundstone in 2008 and Magnus ver Magnusson and Manfred Hoeberl in 1994.

This year, during the qualifying rounds, we gave all 30 athletes an extra incentive to lift the Atlas Stones in the quickest time and win the King of Stones title. The 2011 winner would be recognised with a limited edition t-shirt (only 200 will be printed!) that includes their image, signature and title. The t-shirts will be sold exclusively on the WSM official website.

After a gruelling test of strength, balance and grip, Brian Shaw was ultimately crowned the ‘King of Stones 2011’ winning with a staggering time of 22.36 seconds. You can see a sneak preview of the t-shirt below which will be in stock to order from our store in 3 weeks time.
