Grzegorz Szymanski, World's Strongest Man

Grzegorz Szymański started training in strength athletics at the tender age of 13, when he first became interested in the world of the Strongmen.

He took part in competitions in his native Poland, and first qualified for the Polish Strongman Cup in 2006 and then began serious strength training after coming 19th out 0f 40 in the contest, and returned in 2007 to take first place. After taking part in the Strongman European Championships in 2008 and 2009 and succumbing to a serious foot injury, Grzegorz is back now and competing for the title of the World’s Strongest Man.
