The 2022 SBD World’s Strongest Man (WSM) competition today announced VIP tickets are on sale for this year’s event which features 30 of the world’s top strongmen facing off in an epic battle of strength from May 24-29, 2022 at the Capitol Mall in downtown Sacramento, Calif.

The VIP experience offers fans access to a premium viewing area of the competition, all-inclusive food and drink, and meet and greets with past and present legends of the sport. For the first time ever, this year’s event will also include a Fan Festival area that is free and open to the public with food trucks, tents showcasing local vendors, special events and giveaways, as well as a general admission viewing area so fans can catch all the action live.

Five-day passes are available for $1,300 and individual day tickets range from $250 for qualifying days and $350 for each day of the Finals. Athletes slated to compete include the 2021 WSM reigning champion, Tom Stoltman (GBR), who will look to defend his title against his older brother and 2021 European World’s Strongest Man Luke Stoltman (GBR), self-proclaimed ‘World’s Strongest Gay’ Rob Kearney (USA), 2019 World’s Strongest Man champion Martins Licis (USA), 2020 World’s Strongest Man champion Oleksii Novikov (UKR) and four-time World’s Strongest Man champion Brian Shaw (Fort Lupton, Colo., USA) among several others.

In the U.S., the World’s Strongest Man competition, including all event coverage, can be seen exclusively on CBS Television Network and CBS Sports Network beginning this summer. Television coverage of the 2022 championship will be broadcast worldwide to more than 70 different countries and territories, totaling close to 500 million households. In the UK, coverage will air on Channel 5, starting in December. The full tune-in schedule will be released in the coming weeks.
