What does your training involve?
Cardio, strongman events, powerlifting.

 

What does your diet normally consist of?
Breakfast: Milk, cornflakes, eggs, youghurt, cheese.
Lunch: Fish, rice, vegetables, juice.
Dinner: Meat, potatoes.

 

What made you want to become a strongman?
To be the strongest.

 

How old were you when you started training and competing in strongman?
I started competing in strongman when I was 16 years old.

 

What is your greatest strongman achievement?
6 x Strongman champion. 19 World records.

 

How do you manage to balance work and training for strongman?
I am a professional strongman.

 

What is the worst injury you have ever had?
Both knee ligament rupture (patella) in 2001.

 

What are your plans after your strongman career?
Fitness business.

 

What has been your biggest dissapointment whilst training as a strongman?
I am always happy to be training and competing.

 

What advice would you give to someone who wants to become a strongman?
A lot of training and you will be strong.

 

What is your favourite strongman event and why?
Log lift, 6 world records in this event since 2001, 210kg.

 

What is you least favourite strongman event and why?
I don't have least favourite events. I love all strongman events.

 

Which past strongman do you admire now & why?
Bill Kazmaier.

 

How do you prepare yourself for major events?
Very hard training and good rest before competition.

 

What is your favourite other sporting event? I like all sports.

 

What do you do to relax? Do you have any hobbies?
I read books, it's best to relax after training and competition.

Big Z.

 

What would be your favourite type of holiday and destination?
On a small island in the ocean with my girlfriend.

 

What is your favourite film?
Terminator.

 

What car do you drive now and what car would you like to drive?

Nissan Pathfinder.

 

What personal achievement are you most proud of?
All world records.

 

Who is your biggest threat for 2009 and why?
No threat.

Biographical information
I was born in lithuania in 1975. I started training when I was 13 years old. When I was 16 years old I started competing in the strongman competitions. I have my own fitness gym where I am training for competition. All my life is taken up with strongman sports but otherwise I like to read books and travel.
