Dead Lift (Barrels)
Athletes to compete singly. Athletes are required to lift a number of heavy barrels, which are be dropped one by one into a frame within a stipulated time period. On completion of a good lift another barrel will be loaded automatically, until: time runs out, all the barrels are lifted or the athlete aborts the attempt. The athlete lifting most weight in the shortest time wins.
Weight: Start weight: 250kg - 1st Barrel 260kg, 2nd Barrel 275kg, 3rd Barrel 285kg, 4th Barrel 300kg, 5th Barrel 320kg, 6th Barrel 335kg

Squat Lift
Athletes to compete singly.
The athlete stands under the bar and must squat down until they are below parallel and lift the weight back up to the fully erect position; each time they return to the erect position, more weight will be added to the apparatus. The winner is the athlete who successfully lifts all weights in the fastest time, or the most weight in the time allowed. (75 seconds)
Weights: Start weight: 235kg - 1st Barrel 250kg, 2nd Barrel 260kg, 3rd Barrel 275kg,
4th Barrel 285kg, 5th Barrel 300kg, 6th Barrel 320kg

Overhead Lift (For Reps)
Athletes compete singly Athletes will lift a wooden log from the ground then raise it overhead as many times as possible in the time limit; returning the weight back to the floor in a controlled fashion before attempting to do the next lift.
The winner will be the one who completes as many lifts as possible within the time limit.
Weights: 115kg - Time limit: 75 seconds

Atlas Stones
Athletes compete in pairs. There are five round stones of increasing weights, which are positioned in ascending order. The athlete picks up the lightest stone first and places it onto a platform, and continues until all five have been put on the wall or until his time has run out.
The winner is the athlete who places the most stones onto the platforms in the quickest time.
Weights: 100, 112, 120, 140, 160kg |

Giant Farmers Walk
Athletes compete in pairs.
Competitor carries a weight in each hand over a marked course as quickly as possible.
Weights: 2 x 160kg
