The last day of the finals... crunch time!
The day started out with the legendary and extraordinary plane pull. The culprit a C-130 Hercules plane weighing 88,000 pounds.

Derek Poundstone and Terry Hollands dug their heals in deep and pulled with all their might in the blistering heat, resulting with some very impressive times.
This was witnessed by over seven thousand people who turned out in force for this unique spectacle.

Atlas Stones

Later that afternoon and the last event of the whole competition: the world famous Atlas Stones. The Power Park was thriving with yet another huge crowd.
All the heats proved to be extremely tight but one individual, Arild Haugen stormed through, wracking up an extremely fast time.
The competition climaxed with a spectacular fireworks display, making this years Worlds Strongest Man one to definitely remember! |
