Jimmy Marku and Mark Westaby happy to be in Anaheim
Welcome to the 2007 MET-Rx World’s Strongest Man competition. Slowly but surely we are getting to the point we’ve been waiting for. Today at 3 p.m. the first athletes including Britain’s Terry Hollands or Boris Haraldsson from Iceland arrived at the Hilton in Anaheim. The hotel is prepared for the big event as WSM signs can be seen on big screens throughout the complex. An extra menu card has been designed and the excitement is tangible. The athletes will feel just like home – away from home. Gathered in the lobby the strong men looked anxious. Ready to get things started in the qualifying rounds beginning this Saturday at the Convention Center.
