Thor Bjornsson

 2011 Event Information:

Joining his compatriot Stefan Solvi Petursson at WSM 2011, Thor has only been competing for a couple of years but has put in impressive performances ever since he switched from basketball. A big man, even by WSM standards at 6 feet 9 inches and over 190kgs, the Icelander is the current national champion, after taking third place in 2010. Thor also has victories in Iceland’s Strongest Viking and Westfjord’s Viking to his name, and will believe that he can make a noticeable impact on his WSM debut.
