Biographical information
I was born and grew up in the north of Russia in a small town Nyandoma, Archangelsk region. There the winters last more than half a year. And in the nearby forests are plenty of bears. I started to go in for sports in my childhood. When 12 years old in 1995 I started doing judo and got the degree candidate for master of sports. I always wanted to be strong. In 1997 I began playing with irons and discovered powerlifting. In 2002 I entered the Vladimir state university to study history and successfully finished it in 2007. Moving to Vladimir became a new stage in my life in sports. I began training with serguey ivanov, the famous Russian coach who brought up a number of world champions. My best achievement in powerlifting was the title Champion of the World and Europe among juniors and the full title of champion of Europe. in 2006 I started practicing power extreme. From 2007 I take part all-Russian power extreme federation tournaments and was included in the Russian national team of power extreme. My main achievement in this field was winning the championship of Russia in 2009. And now I shall represent my country at The World's Strongest Man 2009.
