On Sunday 27th May 2007 events heat up at the Heathhall Industrial Estate, Dumfries where the Regional Scottish Qualifier will take place starting at 12 o'clock.
The events include the: • Clean & Press 120 kilos for reps within a 75 second time limit • Deadlift for reps with van, weight at handles 260-270 kilos within a 75 second time limit. Medley, duck walk 227 kilos for 15 metres, barrel load 3 barrels 120 kilos each, chain & anchor drag 270 kilos 15 metres • Farmers Walk 150 kilos in each hand for 30 metres, 2 go at a time so it is like a race • Truck Pull (not sure of weight yet) 25 metres • Stones on to high whiskey barrels, 110,115, 135, 140,147 and 150 kilos
