The 2010 WSM was won on a tiebreaker by the Lithuanian Zydruas Savickas. Brian Shaw from the United States was an unlucky runner up. The 2011 event is expected to be closer than ever. With a host of younger, stronger and more experienced athletes competing, the finalists will be pushed to their limits in events such as the Overhead Log Lift, Vehicle Pull and the iconic Atlas Stones. In tough weather conditions, and maximum weights being exceeded, the winner will have to show strength above all previous years to take home the title of The World’s Strongest Man.
