Two-time Denmark’s Strongest Man winner, Mikkel Leicht, initially wanted to train to look like Arnold Schwarzenegger but soon switched goals when he realised strength training much more versatile and fun. He says pressing events are his biggest strength and promises that if he can clean it, he can press it.
While Leicht doesn’t have a nickname per se, his second name is pronounced “light”. He likes the irony of his name in a sport dominated by heavy weights, plus he says his friends love to call him Light Weight.
Leicht works as a Biomedical laboratory scientist when he’s not chucking huge weights around. He didn’t mention if they make lab coats his size
