Competed In WSM:
2011 Event Information:
One of the highest-achieving competitors of recent years, Poundstone exploded onto the WSM scene in 2008, narrowly failing to take the title at the first attempt after a tussle with five-times WSM Mariusz Pudzianowski which went down to the final event. Fourth place followed one year later in Malta. Poundstone then followed this up with ninth place in 2010, carrying a quadriceps injury into the contest which hampered him on many events. After spending a large portion of this year on the sidelines due to a severe back injury, Poundstone is looking to be back to full fitness for his next attempt at the WSM crown.
