2011 Event Information:
The ‘Island Warrior’ makes a return to WSM after a four year absence, qualifying via his twelfth consecutive Australia’s Strongest Man victory. A man with a wealth of experience, Boyer’s first WSM appearance was fifteen years ago. Over the years he has competed with two completely different generations of strongmen ranging from Kiri, Zijlstra and Rasmussen through to Pudzianowski, Hollands and Bergmann. Boyer is also known for his role as ‘Thunder’ on the Australian version of the ‘Gladiators’ television show. This year he will be hoping that age is no obstacle as he attempts to secure his second qualification to a WSM final.
